Karachi—Minimal Invasion is the guiding principle in all medical and dental procedures and Implantology is no different, said Dr. Henriette Lerner from Germany at the international symposium held in Karachi and attended by dental surgeons from all parts of the country.

The event organized by recently established Federation of Implant Dentistry Pakistan (FIDP) in collaboration with International Oral Implantologists (ICOI) was also addressed by experts from USA, Korea and Palestine.

According to FIDP press release issued on Thursday the experts highlighted, amongst other relevant topics, the huge benefits of Mini Dental Implants (MDIs).

They extensively discussed critical aspects of conventional dental implant therapy for replacing teeth lost due to caries, gum disease, trauma or congenital defects.

Dr. Jin Kim (USA), Dr. Yong Seok Cho (Korea) and Dr. Marwan Qassem (Palestine) in their respective presentations identified “Implants” as the treatment of choice for replacing missing teeth.
